I've written short fiction for publication since the Seventies,
paid the bills with software manuals since the Eighties, and fell in love with
screenwriting during the Nineties.
Credentials
- In 1997, my comedy script MID-LIFE CRISIS placed 2nd in the
Writer's Digest National Writing Contest.
- In 1995, my comedy script LUCKY reached the semi-finals in both the
Writer's Digest contest and in the Austin Heart of Film Festival.
- In 1987, I spent one season (20 shows) as head writer on the
locally-produced cable TV show DO IT! It was part talk show, part quiz show, a
lot of comedy.
- Nearly two dozen of my short stories have appeared in publications
such as Twilight Zone Magazine, Pulphouse, Weird Tales, and Cricket.
- I've been a member of the Science-fiction & Fantasy Writers of
America (SFWA) since 1982.
